Exiting the Dolls House explores the space between our mind, body and emotional state through an immersive experience, which highlights sensations of comfort and discomfort in relation to sexual abuse and the emotions connected to traumatic experience. Sensations of discomfort and claustrophobia give way to the ‘safe space’ one is looking for when in distress, and where it is finally possible to re-explore one’s identity.
