I point to the moon and you look at the finger, 2025
The work explores existential alienation and how it influences the formation of identity, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own stance in contemporary society. A collage of sounds, etched into the collective memory as traumatic events, meets the cries of movements calling for solidarity. The artist wonders how today’s movements take a stand and where they are leading us. A cell phone recording and a selfie confront us with a reality: the need to take pictures and “live forever,” without reflecting on what it truly means to exist. An invitation to feel, to question, to dare to “see ourselves,” at the very moment we must take a stand.
